Product Introduction

The SSFT, SSFW, SSF, and SST series of anti-collision and pressure-regulating outdoor ground fire hydrants, as well as the SSP series of outdoor ground foam fire hydrants, are upgraded based on standard Fire Hydrant Above Ground designs with the addition of pressure-regulating components and anti-collision assemblies. Equipped with fire-fighting functions such as automatic drainage, anti-freezing, and anti-collision, they are suitable for petroleum, chemical, grain reserve facilities, and other fire protection units. Additionally, they provide safety guarantees for cold regions in northern China.

Working Principle

Anti-Freezing Function

The hydrant is equipped with a built-in automatic drain device that automatically closes or drains based on the water pressure inside the plug. When the hydrant is opened and the water pressure is not less than 0.1MPa, the drain valve closes automatically; after the hydrant is closed, the drain valve opens automatically to discharge residual water in a timely manner, preventing freezing.

Anti-Collision Function

Anti-collision components and spring-closed drains are installed to ensure that the hydrant valve head closes quickly in case of impact, preventing water leakage from the pipeline network. Meanwhile, the anti-collision components will not damage the bolt body or valve body when fractured, ensuring the normal use of the hydrant.

Pressure-Regulating Function

The hydrant adopts an automatic pressure-regulating device, which opens in stages when activated. By adjusting the opening height, the water flow distribution is regulated to achieve precise pressure control, ensuring the outlet pressure is adjustable between 0.3MPa and 1.0MPa.
