1. Barrel

Function: Serves as the main spray channel for foam, stably delivering the mixed foam to the fire source through the barrel.

Working Principle

The working principle of the PQ series air foam gun is as follows:

1.Vacuum Pressure Difference

It utilizes an orifice plate to create a vacuum pressure difference through water flow velocity, which sucks in foam concentrate. The foam concentrate is then mixed with air before being sprayed.

2.Foam Solution Mixing

It can be used with various types of foam concentrate mixed at 3% or 6% load in the fire protection system, with the ball valve kept closed at this time.

It can also suck foam concentrate automatically when supplied with pressure water from the fire protection system, with the ball valve fully opened in this case.

3.Operational Precautions

The foam gun is equipped with a circular handwheel for operation and protection; the operator should firmly grasp the handwheel during use.

Note that the pressure of water or mixed solution supplied to the gun should be increased gradually, avoiding exceeding the operating pressure range to prevent injury to the operator.

4.Spraying Direction

Spray with the wind to ensure the best spraying effect.
