Product Introduction
The 6% Aqueous Film-Forming Foam (AFFF) Extinguishing Agent, commonly referred to as 6% AFFF, is a high-efficiency fire-fighting product suitable for fires involving non-water-soluble flammable liquids. Its core feature is that it needs to be mixed with water at a 6% volume ratio for use (6 parts of foam concentrate + 94 parts of water). After mixing, it can quickly extinguish fires through the dual action of "foam coverage + water film barrier".
Its composition includes fluorosurfactants, stabilizers, and other components. When sprayed, it not only forms a dense foam layer on the surface of combustibles such as oil to isolate air from the fire source, but also simultaneously generates a water film. This water film inhibits the volatilization of flammable liquids and prevents re-ignition. Additionally, it causes no obvious corrosion to equipment after fire extinguishing, leaves little residue, and maintains good storage stability.
Product Applications
This extinguishing agent is mainly used to put out non-water-soluble fires such as those involving gasoline, diesel, and crude oil. It is widely compatible with fixed fire-extinguishing systems (such as foam sprinklers and foam cannons) in scenarios including oil depots, oil tankers, airport runways, chemical industrial parks, and ships. It can also be used in mobile fire-extinguishing equipment, providing fast and reliable fire protection for various oil fire scenarios.
Packaging and Storage
1.The product is packed in 25KG,50KG,200KG,1000KG plastic drums.
2.During transportation and storage the product must not be mixed with other chemicals and other types of foam extinguishers.
3.The product should be stored in a cool,dry warehouse, protected from direct,and the storage temperature should be below 45°C.Higher than its lowest use temperature.
4.Shelf life of 8years.
